Leon Sapphire

Beginning his musical path in church, Leon Sapphire has since continued onto bigger and more visible stages, which in turn has spurred within himself an unwitting exploration and dedication towards the art of expression; to put it in his own words, specifically “expressions that are uniquely soulful in nature and conveyed with a calm touch; an amalgamation of harsh compassion and rhythmic flow.”

The soulful sounds of Leon Sapphire’s bass and psalms seek to inspire younger versions of himself and to leave a distinct mark on the colourful fabric of Malaysian music and history through it all.
